Your project, stage by stage

How It Works

Keep the reference, design version and agreed specification together as you move through these five stages. Each decision gives the next stage a clearer starting point.

Choose the Product and Project Route

Start with the intended use. Adding a logo to an existing style and developing a new shape involve different quantity and sample decisions.

You provide: A product or gallery reference, the parts you want to change, and quantities for each design and color.

Confirm: Whether the scope is existing-style branding or new development. For mixed materials, identify the body, decorative parts, connector and hardware separately.

Next: Compare the custom accessories wholesale product paths and existing-style and new-development routes.

Prepare Artwork and Define the Quote

A useful quotation starts with an agreed scope. Include the details a logo file cannot explain, so product, development and packaging costs can be assessed together.

You provide: The artwork version, intended size and units, front/back orientation, logo position, color references and destination.

Confirm: Material and construction, quantities per design, sample requirements and what the quote includes. Ask for applicable sample, tooling, packaging and freight charges to be identified.

Next: Upload artwork or use the bulk keychain quote guide to prepare a comparable brief.

Review the Sample and Confirm the Sealed Reference

Choose a sample for the decision you need to make: an existing reference, a component comparison, a new custom sample or a product-and-packaging check.

You provide: The sample purpose, reference or approved artwork, destination and the checks required for your project.

Confirm: Sample charges, freight and revision terms before proceeding. Before bulk production, both parties must confirm an identified physical sealed sample and a written version record, with required issues resolved.

Next: Request the appropriate sample and use the keychain sample approval guide for detailed checks.

Approve Bulk Production and Record Changes

The bulk specification should match the final approved build. A previous sample cannot approve a later change to material, hardware, artwork or packaging.

You provide: Final quantities by design and color, the approved sample/version reference, packing details and any outstanding changes.

Confirm: The agreed specification, project schedule, inspection requirements and evidence needed for the order. Review changes and confirm whether a revised proof or physical sample is needed before release.

Next: Follow the production approval and handover checklist. Sealed-sample approval does not replace bulk inspection.

Match Packaging and Prepare Shipment

Review the finished accessory with its packaging. Product identification, protection and destination requirements belong in the same final order record.

You provide: Pack artwork and barcode data, items per pack, design identification, destination and any required shipping documents.

Confirm: Product-to-pack fit, fixing and surface protection, carton quantities, shipping method, freight and customs responsibilities. Agree timing for the particular order and destination.

Next: Review packaging options and approval checks and include unresolved delivery requirements in your quote request.

Product Options

Choose by use and attachment first. The product guides cover construction and selection; this help center connects those choices to your quote and approval steps.

Artwork Guidelines

Send a clear reference and explain the intended finished result. Mark what is fixed and what you would like us to review.

Include with Your Files

  • Product reference, design name and file version.
  • Finished size with units, front/back direction and attachment position.
  • Logo location, color reference and any transparent areas.
  • Packaging text, barcode information and language requirements.

Confirm the Production Layout

For printed acrylic, show the intended outline and hole or loop location. Confirm layers, white-ink areas and the production template for the selected build. For other materials, identify the actual component to be marked and the requested effect.

A digital proof confirms layout. Physical material, finish, assembly and fit require the appropriate sample. Submit artwork you own or are authorized to use.

Existing Samples / New Custom Sampling

Specify which sample you need before agreeing the charge. An existing library sample and a newly developed sample are different requests.

Existing Reference Samples

Use an existing style to review its components, appearance or construction. Identify the exact reference, quantity and destination so current availability and any sample charge can be confirmed.

Reference samples may be provided free by agreement, with freight paid by the buyer. This does not mean all library samples are free.

New Custom or Pre-production Samples

Use a new sample to review your approved design and specified components. Confirm development, revisions and packaging sample requirements before work starts.

PVC development has a sample development fee and a mold fee. Ordinary sewn plush has a difficulty-based sample fee without a separate ordinary mold fee; composite work and custom dyeing need individual assessment.

Custom sampling fees for acrylic and plush may be refunded or credited under agreed project terms; other materials do not support this refund or credit. Confirm the amount, conditions and timing. Free reference samples do not mean free custom development.

Request a sample or review the keychain sample checklist before approving bulk production.

Custom Options

Define the changes to the reference instead of treating every customization as a new product.

  • Existing style with your logo: Can start from 100 pieces when only the customer logo is added.
  • New keychain shape or redevelopment: Printed acrylic starts from 100 pieces, ordinary sewn plush from 1,000 and PVC from 2,000, assessed per style or design. Combining designs does not meet one design’s minimum.
  • Components and finish: Identify the parts to change, such as artwork, decorative body, hardware or packaging. Confirm the applicable method and marking area for those parts.

Other materials, mixed-material assemblies, vinyl-face composite work and custom dyeing require project-specific assessment. Review OEM/ODM scope and development conditions for the selected route.

Packaging Options

Consider individual bags, backing cards, hang tags, barcode labels, retail boxes or a custom gift pack. Choose the format around display, protection and identification.

  • Check usable space, fixing points and whether hardware can rub against the decorated surface.
  • Match each design to the correct barcode, language and pack quantity.
  • Review a pack containing the actual product or an agreed equivalent.

The custom keychain packaging and accessory pack guide explains the approval checks. Confirm supporting evidence before printing environmental or material claims.

Shipping & Customs

Provide the destination country and required arrival date with your project brief. Shipping arrangements depend on the completed order scope and destination.

  • Agree the shipping method, quoted freight and schedule.
  • Identify required documents, labels and inspection records.
  • Confirm customs clearance, duties, taxes and delivery responsibilities in the order terms.

Add delivery questions to your quote request; confirm the applicable terms before approving the order.

Existing Styles and Current Availability

Product and gallery references help you choose a direction. A displayed style does not confirm current stock, sample availability or dispatch timing. Send the reference and required quantity so these can be checked for your request.

FAQ & Help

Answers to the decisions that commonly come before a quote or sample request.

What if I do not know the material or dimensions yet?

Send the use case, a reference and the parts you want to change. Identify undecided details so the proposed material, dimensions and hardware can be reviewed during quotation and sampling.

How do I request free keychain samples before a bulk order?

Identify the exact reference and destination. Reference samples may be free by agreement, with buyer-paid freight. Confirm availability and applicable charges through Order Samples; new custom sampling is a separate request.

What is needed for a bulk custom keychain quote?

Provide the intended outline, material, size, hardware, artwork, quantity per design and packaging. For a die-cut design, confirm the material and proposed cutting process; that term does not describe every PVC, metal or plush build. Use the existing quotation guide for the full checklist.

Can an approved digital design replace a physical sample?

A digital design checks the layout. It cannot establish physical material, assembly, finish or fit. Confirm the identified physical sealed sample and written version record before bulk production.

When should delivery and inspection requirements be discussed?

Include your destination, required arrival date and inspection or documentation needs in the initial inquiry. Confirm the agreed schedule and responsibilities with the final specification before order approval.
