Which charges should be separated?

  • New soft PVC shape: request the custom sampling fee and mold fee as separate items. Have the quote identify the design, construction and any separately assembled parts covered by each charge.
  • New standard sewn-plush shape: custom sampling is assessed by sample complexity, with no separate mold fee for the ordinary sewn construction. Vinyl-face components and special dyeing require their own assessment.
  • Printed acrylic or metal: ask which artwork, cutting, stock-blank or forming setup is included and which is charged separately. Confirm a new metal shape’s minimum quantity in its own project quote.

What makes two quotes comparable?

Use one specification record for each keychain design and color when requesting comparable quotes. List added components separately from the body so every quote covers the same assembly.
